This is something that took quite a bit of time, it was done with coloured pastels, Rembrandts and it's funny that the drawing is a copy of the Rembrandt masterpiece which so happens to be another one of my favourite old masters.

This is the type of drawings I enjoy doing, a 20 minute life drawing, not much time to be caught up in details and very little time to fall in love with your line too. You will see lots of this type of drawings.

A 15 minute life drawing using brown colouring pencil on grey photo copying paper.

This was done with Pastels on grey photo copying Paper, I'm not big on paper, I know I should be but I wont be around that long to care ha ha ha.

This is a copy of one of my favorite artist, Frank Frazetta, the master of this type of work. This was done obout 15-20 years ago (I think) this is why the paper is so yellow. Ive kept it because it shows what I was in to at that time, its poster size with a lot of detail (no time for that any more).

This is one of my Favorites, just a bunch of line going every which way and some how it ends up like this. Funny about that, when you put line next to each other in a certain way you get this.

This was a 2 hour drawing from life, using led pencil and white chalk on grey photo copying paper. This model was very special and I was happy to capture her peaceful soft natured eyes which is something that I always focus on.

I teach drawing once a week, the hat was a gift from a very special person and she insisted that I ware it each week. I'm not accustomed to wearing hats but I'm willing to make an exception to this rule.
